Summer is a Good Time to Clean Your Chimney

By cleaning your chimney in the summer, you will avoid the busy season, and your flue will be ready to go in the fall.

Cleaning your flue, removes the “sooty, sour smell” that comes from the creosote and moisture mixture caused by rain, warm weather, and high humidity.

Having your chimney swept before the "busy season" starts, can save you money. Some companies may offer a “Spring or Summer Discount” when business slows down slightly in the spring and summer months.

Fall is usually the time most chimney sweeps raise their prices, since it is the busiest time of the year.
